Irina Vodar is an award‑winning independent filmmaker and graphic designer with more than twenty years of experience in Broadcast Design at ABC News. As a filmmaker, she has written, produced, and directed two feature‑length documentaries. Her debut doc feature Miss Gulag, produced in association with Neihausen-Yatskova Films on a beauty pageant in a Russian prison for women, premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in competition.

Her second feature, Anything You Lose, offers an intimate and insightful look at the journey through infertility. The project received funding from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), went viral across the indie festival circuit with a triple win at the IndieFest Film Awards, earned more than 100 awards and nominations worldwide, and received a Lifetime Achievement Award. The film is currently available nationwide on PBS broadcast and streaming platforms.
